ABOUT US
After earning her B.A. in Psychology from Middlebury College in Vermont, Beth taught in classrooms supporting children of all ages with developmental disabilities. After working directly with children, Beth returned to school more than a decade ago to earn her Masters in Education and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With years of experience working with children from early intervention into adulthood, Beth specialized in training professionals and educating families on how to work with children with disabilities.
Beth has baked with each of her children since they were old enough to stand on a stool.
Finding passion in helping other adults involve kids in the kitchen, she began hosting pizza and cookie making parties with friends and their young children. In doing this, she found that many parents were intimidated to cook or bake with kids.
Then, during the COVID shutdown, she turned to baking as a way to sneak age-appropriate skills into her time with her then 3-year-old who was frustrated by being stuck at home and unwilling to continue with more common means of homeschooling. When COVID slowed down and her kids were able to return to school, Beth continued to receive requests for advice from friends, and that is when she started Bake to Learn, LLC.

Board Certified in Behavior Analysis
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are professionals who specialize in examining the behavior patterns of an individual. Using carefully designed programming, BCBAs can support individuals in learning new skills in any domain - self care, speech and communication, social/emotional, cognitive, etc. While behavior analysis is often used when working with children on the autism spectrum, this manner of assessing behavior and effectively identifying teaching strategies is useful in any environment. The BCBA certification gives our Founder, Beth, a deeper understanding of how to work with children by observing behavior and providing families with techniques to help achieve desired outcomes.
